Two men in the Amsterdam's beguinage.

The beguinages were constructed in the West North of Europa (Flanders, Nederland).

The Beguines were women who dedicaded their lives to god withart retiring from the world (13th century).

The beguinages are situated in the cities: Amsterdam, Bruges, Leuven, Lier, Diest, Dixmude, ...

Hello Roger,
A charming portrait of these two men who are nicely placed in the frame to include the attractive background architecture. I like the use of black and white, which helps set the mood. The image has a good range of tones and very good sharpness.

La distance entre les hommes et les immeubles donne de la profondeur ŕ la composition. La prise de vue permet de voir les détails de l'architecture des immeubles. L'image est claire et nette. Bon weekend.

Another charming image in B&W where these 2 men are placed nicely. They seem to be in deep thoughts. Very attractive buildings on the back. Excellent composition.

Hello Roger. I like this black and white. The buildings look bright and new, but per your note I am sure they are not. Good shot of the one individual, he looks distinguished and well dressed. The other maybe has a cane, not sure. Good shot. Regards, Roger

J'aime beaucoup cette mise en image ! le choix du noir et blanc valorise bien l'ensemble architectural en arričre-plan et la présence de personnages au premier donne de la vie ŕ la composition.
Félicitations quant ŕ l'origine du nom de pays "Ferričres-en-Gâtinais", en effet, il s'agit bien du mot fer impliquant ŕ l'époque une industrie importante en matičre de métallurgie.

The B&W image makes this look as an old stuff, Roger - but creats an ambince.
Faces expression on two men tell they take their time, enjoy retirement...
Windows facade on Bg has a fine clearity and sharp.

A beautiful photograph, where the composition, location of subjects, and the choice of black and white are all good!
