The Brazilian Jaguar is a typical Brazilian feline we can see in the zoo of Belo Horizonte. We can also see it in Pantanal and in the Brazilian jungles, but the it would not be a very friendly meeting.

é de fato um lindo animal. muito boa a foto que o mostra com bons detalhes. ainda hoje ao ver minha gatinha afiando as garras num pedaço de madeira me lembrei de como ela se parecia com uma onça.
por aqui um frio tremendo (sem trocadilho. haha)

Hi Fabiano,
I always think that photos from a ZOO have trouble with location. Should it be the original location of the animal or the location where the photo was taken? But in your case everything is fine because it is both Brazilian animal and Brazilian ZOO :)

Ce félin est certainement ŕ protéger face ŕ la déforestation et autres trouvailles de l'homme. Il serait temps de réaliser que notre plančte est en danger et que les bonnes décisions soient prises pour la gérer avec intelligence.

Nice shot of the jaguar. I guess it would be hard to see it in the wild, and could be dangerous, so it is the next best thing to see it in the zoo.

bella immagine del giaguaro che probabilmente ignora la tua presenza :)
Nonostante la forte luce, l'immagine non ha perso definizione.
E' molto bello poter fotografare gli animali in questo contesto piuttosto che chiusi all'interno di una gabbia.

Very nicely captured beautifully elegant jaguar, yes, it would not be very wise to have a meeting in the wild without a prior appointment. I love to eat all sorts of foods and I like what I eat for lunch, but I would prefer not to become his lunch. I am very slim, so I wouldnt make a very good lunch for them in any case. Provided image is very clear and captures the beauty of this particular Brazilian Jaguar. I would like to have one as a pet! They are beautiful animals. Thank you Fabiano for this very rare photo.

A great close range zoo picture, the animal is well placed in the frame.
Colors and texture of its fur is outstanding, shine under the daylight and well in contrast with green.
Vicious yet majestic.
