It is is often consumed for its psychoactive and physiological effects, which can include heightened mood or euphoria & relaxation...

Hello Subhendu,
Great portrait from you of this sadhu trying to light up her chillum. Like the intensity you have caught on her face. Very rare to see women taking pot in India except in higher society rave parties. Good one, thanks for sharing.

Hello Subhendu,
even if we don't see the lady's eyes and can't know her character or relate to her, this portrait represents a particular state of mind and is intense and captivating. I think that some of the bright area at the top could be left out of the frame for great focus on the expression and action. The light increases the warmth of the colours, sharpness and contrasts are superb. It's really intriguing to see three hands in front of the lady's rapturous face. Congratulations and thank you!

You are right, another interesting face, impressive moment, fine close up, good details of the skin. I am not a fan of Cannabis, but I know some countries make legal using of this remedy. But I am not expert.

A terrific close-up of hands, fingers, a flame, two half-closed eyes and a design on forehead... so powerfully composed within a frame of hairs.
