Chefchaouen is a unique and charismatic of Morocco, known as the town blue
due to the indigo dye which is used to paint houses, stairs, doors, windows, and even the street in amazing shades of blue.
Located in the mountains of the Rift, an oasis for relaxation and contact with local culture and cuisine. Is also a paradise for lovers of photography.
Chefchaouen was founded by Moulay Rachid Ben Ali in order to serve as a backup to the troops and people who fought the Portuguese fleet in Tangier.
Later, with the expulsion of the Moors in Spain, gained notoriety and became a notorious bastion of Arabic, so that any Christian who enter here was punished with death.
Historically resisted the onslaught Spanish and joined the Kingdom of Morocco fully only after the country's independence in 1956.

The composition and the pattern of colours and shapes are perfect.
In my opinion it is a bit oversaturated and overcontrasted in the postprocessing phase. It is visible expecially in the human figure and its hat, and in some blue parts. There was no need to do that, as the colours are already very bright and eye catching.

A very bright & vivid photograph.
The old man trudging down the street lends a contrast to the youthfully blue houses.
The street is captured in two levels and the door in the lower tier on the low right makes the composition interesting.
Best wishes !

Hello Joao,
Great composition, fine picture, but I agree with Stefano that the PP seems a bit over the top. A pity, but the picture is certainly good enough to deserve a revisit.

Hi Joao
This is a very well executed photo. Great colours, composition and balance the only draw back is the man in your shot is not quite sharp enough....you seem to have too much digital noise or something. Nonetheless, this is a very nice photo.
Cheers

Hi Joao
I like the mix of the 3 colors and the good framing. the red wall equilibrates the man's hat.
Good job!
Cheers
