Falster, a photo from Storstrom, East

Photographer's Note

Falster is an island in south-eastern Denmark. It lies in the Baltic Sea and is connected to the two larger islands of Zealand and Lolland by several bridges. Its southern tip, Gedser Odde, is Denmarks most southerly point. Closely associated with Zealand and Lolland islands socially and agriculturally, it is flat, with forests in the centre and on the east coast. The fertile soil supports cultivation of sugar beets and grain. On the east coast there are some beautiful sandy beaches.

Cela pourrait ętre un paysage breton ! J'aime bien la composition avec les algues au premier plan . La barque orange est centrée , mais ici , ça fonctionne assez bien .

Hi Jean. Yes, Denmark is a beautiful country. From two sides surrounded by the sea, it shows its beauty. Your photo is a good example. Very nice colors and light. The red boat is an important image detail. Rgds, Wolfgang.

The cool blue sky lends a very relaxed feel to his lovely coastal scene.

This is a new view of Denmark for me, as I have never been there before and I haven't seen a lot of coastal pics. It's very pretty in a subtle way. Also, after seeing your photo, I am starting to like this vertical format more than I did before. Thanks for opening my mind. I look forward to seeing more of your gallery.

Bonjour Jean,

J'aime bien la transparence de l'eau et cette distance qui donne de la profondeur. L'image est trčs bien divisée et la chaloupe rouge ŕ mi-chemin attire le regard. La lumičre sous ce ciel partiellement nuageux donne un bel effet et des couleurs douces.

Hello Jean,

You're capturing well this beautiful place by a good composition and very excellent tone/clarity, so it's interesting and impressive to see calm/peaceful Baltic sea with peaceful and calm atmosphere. It's impressive in clean water and some anchoring and floating boats on sea, too. It is visible to the place which is worth going here.

Bonjour,

J'aime bien la composition de cette photo en format vertical, en grand angle, avec un avant plan assez vide qui donne une sensation de profondeur soulignée par cette barque orange qui sert d'appuie ŕ la composition.
Une photo hors des régles habituelles de composition, mais qui fonctionne vraiment bien comme cela.
