Hola Josep,
Since my visits to Istanbul date back a few decades ago, I'm always surprised when I see pictures like this one with such a stunning new architecture. People think of a place/city/country with the images that are stored in their memory of the time of their visit. This can only mean that it's high time for a new visit :)
Besides the enormous contrast between the architectural styles and the big historical difference, this picture shows us also the busy life that in Istanbul isn't only found in the city but also on the water.
Apparently, there is a lot of green in the city.
You also show us this interesting skyline with a magnificent sky as background.

Bonjour Josep,

Effectivement de sacrés contrastes architecturaux sur cette photo... Cet hôtel a, d'ailleurs, presque volé la vedette à la mosquée !!! Un panorama dynamique plein de détails et un magnifique ciel qui donne beaucoup de relief à l'image. Une belle et intéressante prise de vue, merci Josep.

Y es que Estambul es también una ciudad de contrastes...donde la modernidad y el clasicismo conviven...como bien demuestras en esta fantastica foto... otra cosa es que nos guste el que las modernas construcciones cambien el panorama típico, y que tan cerca de las construcciones clasicas rompan la armonia de la ciudad...pero eso es otro tema...

Me gusta mucho la composición y los contrastes que has conseguido aquí, con unos tonos azules que dominan la imagen y que son fiel reflejo de la luz de la ciudad...y un cielo maravillosos!!!

Hola Josep.
Soberbia composicion en esta imagen con este contraste de estilos, sin duda la imagen supermoderna del hotel contrasta con la clasica y encantora imagen de la mezquita, pero en esta ciudad toda se amalgama de forma ideal, por eso resulta tan mágica.
Me gusta la gran nitidez y el bonito colorido, la luz a pesar de esas nubes que adornan el cielo tambien esta muy especial.
Una imagen maravillosa para recordar y siempre desear volver a pasear por sus calles y navegar por el Bósforo.
Tengo que hacer mencion al marco, me encanta ese filo azulon que con el blanco y el azul del mar le va ideal.
Os deseo una buena tarde.

el constraste es muy interesante entre los edificios que centran tu fotografia, reflejo de dos epocas distintas. Me gusta la panoramica, fue una buena idea con un resultado interesante, buen trabajo,

Hola Josep,
Qué foto más luminosa donde casi todo es azul y blanco. El contraste de arquiecturas es impresionante y el punto de vista desde el barco te ofreció una imagen muy distinta de la ciudad, de lo que estamos más acostumbrados a ver.

Bonjour Josep,
Cette vue est très intéressante par le rapprochement de l'architecture de deux époques. La mosquée semble typique des mosquées turques de l'époque qu'on peut voir jusqu'au Caire. Le trafic sur l'eau est intense. Aux bateaux de commerce s'ajoute la flotte touristique en plein essor.

you know i'm going to love this photo that you have here!
and you're right about the contrasting buildings. I also like how they are positioned on opposite sided of the frame too.
very elegant contrasting and color arrangements, the clouds were a great feature as well.
Seems like Turkey is a great place for photos

Indeed the contrast in architecture cannot be more pronounced! The mosque on the right, though not very old is an example of a dead style compared to the tall glass building which is the order of the day around the world...without any character, without any distinctive style. Good light here creating a fine luminous image!

Muy adecuado título! El estado del cielo lo has manejado muy bien, me gusta mucho las nubes y los colores tan llamativos, muy bonito encuadre con la actividad de los barcos y la ciudad de fondo, la definición del mar es optima! La luz es exquisita! Felicidades!
