Hello,
Very good composition with a nice light and using well the pattern of clouds to built a dynamic scene.
This monument is well known and photographied, but this photo presented it in an original way.
Yves.

Great photo!. I really like the sharpness and contrast of the figurines on the statue. The blue and white strikes in the sky really go well with the grey color of the stone.

É uma das fotos mais bonitas que eu tenho visto do Padrăo dos Descobrimentos. Está fabulosa, com um dramatismo fantástico devido ao PdV, ao céu e ao processamento que lhe fez.
É um trabalho espectacular.

monument shots are definitely not my favorite genre of photography: most of the ones you see here on trekearth are just plain boring. but this one does stand out, you've found the perfect sky to supplement the structure, by matching the direction of the ascent of figures.
well done!

hello Joao,
a nice angle of view on this famous monument, in tilt-up. The characters seem to climb up in the sky. This one, very living, adds to the composition.

Beautiful.
I saw this monument once, long ago. But it never came to mind to shoot it from this angle. At the time I was a kid with a point and shoot camera, but today too, had I not seen this the idea would most likely never have came to me.
Beautifully captured, with the clouds making a smooth and peaceful background. A very interesting point of view and such great detail captured.
Thank you so much for sharing this with us
