Photographer's Note

Niagara Falls is a set of massive waterfalls located on the Niagara River, on the border between the United States and Canada.

This is Horseshoe (Canadian) falls. While not exceptionally high, Niagara Falls is very wide. And with more than 6 million cubic feet (168,000 mł) of water falling over the crest line every minute, it is the most powerful waterfall in North America, and possibly, the best-known in the world. It is 12.000 years old and has over 16.000.000 tourists a year.

Hello,
Wonderfull rainbow. I like them and t's very difficult to get them correctly. I've posted some on TE but they are not as nice (they are not taken in same either).
I live the framing and the light management. Colours are great too.

Hello Alana, il n'y avait besoin de cet arc en ciel pour que la photo soit belle, mais avec lui en plus, cela devient du grand art.
Les couleurs sont vraiment superbes, j'aime les bleus profonds de la rivičre.
Un POV original et un tout bon cadrage.

Hi Alana,
It is because I have big admiration for your photos that I dare telling you that in this one you have been a little too far in saturating the colors to my taste. Especially on the people.
Yet it is an excellent image. You have a great eye for framing. You have a real talent for post processing the sky, you found a way to increase the contrast and keep all the details like the second ring of rainbow (barely visible but still there).
This photo show also the ambiance of the place and how much it is touristic.

Alana, this is EXCELLENT. I don't know what to say. The composition is great with the people on the left side watching at the waterfall and the nice color of the river, it is nice even without the rainbow, but with it is one of my favourites.

Very well captured rainbow with such bright colors. Well done POV with just enough people to show how crowded it is, yet leaving an idea of how vast the scene is. The curve of the rainbow adds a nice contrast to the straight horizon.

By reading your profile description i see that we live in same beautiful province:). Im originally from quebec but live in trenton /belleville area working on air force base! Very nice capture of one of the greatest world wonder. Just came back from a trip to iceland and as im sure you know by what you do in life i have seen some great waterfalls and other exciting nature phenomenon. Cheers. Martin
