Photographer's Note
9:30 It was just about getting dark, when you're that far south, the daylight is just much longer in the spring time. Another shot of Torres del Paine, this one feature only Pained Grande peak in front of the wind swept grassland. A fantastic clear night.
Torres del Paine National Park is a Chilean National Park encompassing a mountains, glacier, lake, and river-rich area in southern Chile. The Cordillera del Paine is the centerpiece of the park. It lies in a transition area between the Magellanic subpolar forests and the Patagonian Steppes. The park is located 112 km north of Puerto Natales and 312 km north of Punta Arenas. Bernardo O'Higgins National Park is its neighbour to the west, while Los Glaciares National Park is located to the north in Argentine territory.

Hello Way,
A nice landscape shot. I like the vertical frame, it really draws the viewer in and allows him to feel the progression in the landscape, from the grassy field to the foothill and to the rugged peak. The textures of the grass blown by the wind are lovely and that red house adds a good accent.
Cheers,

This photo calls to reflection, I don't know if it's because of the lonely house, or the low saturation, or the simple composition. Definitely the place is fundamental.
The mountains are just beatifull...what I'd give to see them...but they are so far away!
Keep posting.

Hi Way,
what a fantastic place, nice mountains with sharp top covered with snow and the grassy foreground is superb. Like the vertical format where you keep more space for FG. Like also the red cottage which is pleasant and eye catching. Great composition. Well done. Tfs.

Hello Way,

Bonsoir Way
Great evening shot. The colors and clarity is perfect.
I bit more depth could be gained with an eye-catching foreground like a stone. Just an opinion.
Bravo

Hi Way,
Excellent vertical composition, beautiful light and perfect sharpness are the trump cards of this photo!! ;o) The landscape is really admirable here; I love that contrast between small house and giant mountain massif i the background... Perfect work!!
Way you are master of photography on TE for me, I try to study your works, but it is impossible to equal you :o)
Best regards and Happy Easter (if you celebrate),

Hi Way,
love the way the wind is flattening the grass and that lovely red house in the center.
Only problem for me is that there appears to be a visual "hole" in the photo, slightly right of center in the mountains. Maybe the clouds hit the snow and that's why there is so little definition.
Still, a wonderful shot Way! Have a great weekend!

Hello Way Lim,
really good your choice of making it with a vertical format and having like this all the key points well filled up by the several layers this photo has.
I love the effect of the wind sweapping the high grass on foreground and how tiny this little house/barn? looks in the mmiddle of this gigantic landscape.
Cheers.

Hi Way
This house looks so loney in such wild, cold and windy scenery. You placed it nicely quite far from the foreground so it looks even more impressive with the menacing mountain behind it.

Hi Way,
Nice view on this lonely house in the middle of a very wild place. I love the grass in the foreground that makes us feel the wind. The mountains over the house are very impressive. Nice light and nice natural colours.

Hello Way,
It's funny, but this photo makes me think of Iceland, so far away on the other side of the earth but with a similar environment. I like your choice of a large and empty foreground, just a lot of grass of different colours blowing in the wind, and a single, isolated house below the mountain. I bet the air is fresh and cool in this area.
Kind regards,
Gert

Close to darkness and well after sunset I would presume. The wind also seems to be strong judging by how the grasses bend towards the right. A fantastic clear view of the Pained Grande peak in the BG...not to say the red house which seems to be in a great vantage location, but in the middle of nowhere! What was the aperture and speed for this shot?

Hi Way, this place is so windswept and wild. The texture of the grass in the FG really demonstrates this. I can imagine that a tripod would have been difficult in such wind. Excellent use of the vertical, interestingly I've noticed that this seems to be your preferred format. It certainly has alot of impact. The colours are rich as always and the image sharp (except the house looks a but soft but that could be my bad eyesight :) Have a lovely evening and TFS, Lisa

Salam Way,
A beautiful view n nature..although the house is not much small but in comparison with the high mounts n the vastness of the plain, seems little n lost.. very well captured.

Hello Way,
A pictuer with beautiful layers (gras - hill -
mountain - sky) and this creates a nice depth.
The vertical position emphasize this extra.
Light management and composition are as always
excellent and the movement of the grass is a
nice extra, as viewer you can almost hear the
wind.
Friendly regards, happy Christmas and a
good 2013,
Robert
