Welcome to TE! Nice image with an almost abstract feel to it. The balance is great and you've positioned the sun perfectly. Very slight tilt to the horizon but easily fixed in post-processing.

The warm tones and the fading mountains make for a simple but very effective image. I'd would say this was taken on film then scanned.

Welcome to TE community. A great shot to post as your 1st entry to TE with this colorful sunset scene.

Nicely saturated color tone and what makes it even more interesting must be the layer of tone, from the dark mountain at the front to the faded look at the background.

The sun is placed at the right position for this view.

Although Borneo has no sea/mountain at the west end to capture a sunset like yours here, I have a sunset post that are more tropical with clouds.
