Interesting sky with excellent cool and warm tones. The vertical format is very effective to create a good balance of saky and land and the little dog on the road is eye catching, even when is so small in the frame. Thanks Paul.

G'Day Paul,

This is a sensational photograph, the cirrus clouds are perfectly repeated for the best effect. The yellow portions blend with the blue very pleasantly. The golden lighting sets up the base of the image well, but the main point of interest is your loyal dog following behind. TE is not a place for photos of family pets, but this magic landscape is only enhanced by the dog so it is a most welcome inclusion. I like how 1/4 is dedicated to land while the remainder focuses on the unique sky. TFS.

I love the way the photo moves from the warm golden light on the grass and clouds as it clears to the bright and cool sky above. The whispy detail in the clouds is wonderful. Your outstanding PP work brought this photo to life; it's very brave of you to include the original in the WS.

Hi Paul. Lovely work- exuding warmth, peace and a strong sense of place. You put a lot of feeling into this composition. The light is enchanting and gives a special quality to both the land and the sky. I like the outline of the dog as the light hits it at a low angle. Regards. Klaudio.

The comparison between the WS and your main post is exactly the difference between what a camera can do and what an eye can do. Fantastic!
Nevertheless, PP gives us the possibility to "salvage" the shot to a point where it gets close to what we really see and sometimes an additional artistic element.

Hi Paul,
just a good landscape for the great light impression and the dog is a good life addition. I hope that this will not be removed because of including your dog as the main thing is that great sky. Great impression, well done in PP. I also had more luck in such using the "traditional" methods.

Wow Paul. This is good. The tall portrait format really works well here, with that awesome sky. I love the clouds and the colour transition you have captured here from blue to orange, then it starts to meld with the horizon into land. Perfect. The sharp clarity in your landscape is excellent with very excellent light and shadow play throughout and no I haven't forgotten the dog. He is the star of this show, perfectly place on the road, and perfectly posed, looking back over his shoulder. Awesome!

I appreciate the inclusion of the workshop (original photo). This is the difference between a snapshot and a photograph.

Hi Paul,
you have the image clever dealt so we have the very impressive sky very good composed with the earthy part it is superb illuminated.
The few white clouds make it very nice effective, the dog on the road is a great plus.

tu as bien fait de promener le chien à ce moment là.
Le ciel est extraordinaire avec les nuages et les couleurs.
Le premier plan sombre met en valeur le côté aérien de ce
ciel.
Le travail sur la photo est excellent.

What a sunset you had on that day, they just seems to be so rare.
the clouds are dynamic and they have a somewhat curly form, that adds to their attraction.
The light on the foreground gives a pastel look and feeling to the composition.

So, you seems to be enjoying tha angle finder, which is a very useful toy for our aging bodies.

Hi Paul,
your job on the light you captured that evenng is simply amazing and the result is a almost painted sky which makes the difference. The gold tone of the earth sunkissed and the beautiful blue of the sky have created a wonderful contrast and added to the picture a great atmosphere. I like it a lot!
