Photographer's Note

The area of Menaggio was conquered by the Romans in 196 BC. The Roman conquest culminated with the construction of a road called the Via Regina.
Menaggio was a walled city, and remnants of the wall are evident today.
Construction of big hotels in this cool summer area made it a summer resort area.

Bella foto del lago de Como, con unos colores muy naturales.
Me gusta la horizontalidad de la imagen, en plano cerrado, en la que destacan tres zonas diferenciadas: el lago, la zona construida y la montańa.

Bonjour Juan,

Les beaux lacs du nord de l'Italie sont un bonheur pour les yeux. Des eaux d'un bleu pur et des maisons magnifiques, le tout entouré de montagnes. Un ręve.

Avec lce bruissement sur le lac, ça souffle superb eiamge et compo les belle maison et l'églsie dans le cadrage, suepr compo et image, le couleurs des facades ressortent parfaitement.

Well, well how I've missed that. Looks like we both visited lake Como area in space of a month. Hope you enjoyed as much as I did.

Your "three layer cake" photo is outstanding. I like the cold colour palete. Perfect sharpness and well framed. It's just like seating on the ferry on the way to Bellagio.

I was here 5 days ago too. Unfortunatelly, these mounts are not so green. But the buildings are so colouful, no doubt. Excellent presentation of Como.
