Ghost streets, a photo from Setubal, South

Photographer's Note

Simple view of a bunch of houses near bay side, the different colours mixed with the sky's tones and the emptiness of the streets attracted me on this one.
There is something that I like on this emptiness, although I know, most of the souls of the site will tell me that a human character is missing here.
Rules where made to be broken, right?

About the photo: I added some vignetting to concentrate the focus on the bunch of houses and sky.

Good contrast between the dark and light colors. I really enjoy the black level of this photo. Nice clarity as well.

Hello,
I like the contrast giving a dramatic effect, and I thing it is going nicely with the absence of people, or life.
The vignetting is a good idea, but I may have just tried to shade the ski horizontally.

Bonjour Paulo,
toujours beaucoup de contrastes dans tes photos, au niveau des détails, cela les rend mieux.
Une photo toutefois un peu sombre, sans doute l'idée de rendre plus austčre, pourtant sous un joli ciel, ces vieilles maisons.

well, i think that you did a nice trick, here, paulo...
you managed to turn a so-so photo into something that really attracts the viewers for a while - that darkening of the image converted the quiet place into a ghostly picture from some scary movie or something...

Olá Paulo,
el tratamiento que has dado a la luz ofrece una imagen con una luminosidad especial y una aureola un poco oscura, que ciertamente hace destacar el grafismo y los colores de las casas.
El cielo también es muy bonito y con una espléndida decoración de nubes blancas que le dan un buen contraste gráfico.
La composición es buena y atrae la mirada por el interés de sus elementos.

Perhaps a very suitable title to this picture.
Indeed the street without people care for a little bit spooky atmosphere .
Really a pleasant capture with fine light management and a real good location.
Lovely colours and an excellent composition.

Bom dia Paulo, năo havendo pessoas acho que fizeste um tratamento de imagem muito apropriado, pois isto faz mesmo parecer um local assombrado. Até dá para o arranque de um filme de terror. Ou entăo uma cena do apocalípse - de um momento para o outro estamos sózinhos aqui, toda a gente desapareceu de repente. Boa quebra de regras - E pelos vistos até o J. gostou ;-)
