Hello all,
Posting a shot after quite some time (almost 3 weeks). Though I was connected to TE and kept on looking at the beautiful posts of all my TE friends, I just seemed to have a muted phase .. a dumb, empty patch, not feeling like or being able to click, go out or sit with a single photo shot by me. Didnt even feel like posting a shot on T.E either !
Anyway, this is Sirikhola.
An explicitely beautiful settlement in North Bengal where the river Siri flows by. (Khola means small river and hence Siri-khola).
I was down to the river bed, sitting on the huge rocky boulders trying to take some sunset shots.
Suddenly, out of nowhere a couple of boys came in. Leaping from rock to rock, they negotiated the rocky river bed effortlessly with amazing speed and agility. It seemed as if they were quite used to in travelling like this. Had I attempted a single move they so plaintively executed, I was sure to sustain a couple of fractures.
Within a few seconds the boys disappeared over the horizon .. as suddenly as they had appeared.
I had time for just two shots. Here's one of them.
