Photographer's Note

A fine late afternoon at Fatimid ancient harbour with these traditional fishing boats really caught my eye moored on calm water. In the distance is a Red Lighthouse built by the French seating on the tip of Cap d'Afrique overlooking the Mediterranean sea while dotted white on the gentle slopes is part of an extensive burial ground. This particular peaceful scene with long maritime history since the Roman times, I think has remained pretty intact which simply adds to its authentic nature beauty.

It does look so much better in real life than this humble shot of mine can show.

Setting: 15 mm, 1/125 sec, F22, ISO Raw 200, 1635 hrs & polarised, cropped fraction of negative space on top
