Photographer's Note
This shot was taken from the window of a minibus en-route from Bamiyan to the lakes at Band-e-Amir. I just loved the black shapes of the cows and donkeys set against the rich orange colours of the hillside.

Interesting colors and textures. You've captured the ups and downs of the land well.

i thought something was moving there....my first reaction was your camera set on infinity at 1/20 sec and f 2.8..:)
i like the shot though...its sharp enough out back but that tumbleweed is distracting in the front area

jonathan,
a dreamy look in your shot, maybe it is because of the colors or someone has pushed u down the hill:-) nice shot,

It is fantastic hoew the motion blur works on the ground and on the plantation more than it works on the anymals. That's what makes this picture so interesting and attractive. I love it, Jonathan.

Hi Jonathan,
I like the colors of this land but I think the cows haven't a lot of grass to eat...
Well taken through a window, I like the POV.
Well done

Well done Jonathan! I like the color contrast between black and the nice orange. A nice scene captured well under circumstances.

Nice colouring, and you have captured the height as well as the bumps in the land quite well.

Pour une image prise d'un bus c'est pas mal du tout.Il faut voir ça comme une tapisserie avec un grain apparent et des couleurs chaudes. C'est un bon cliché.

Hi Jonathan
I love the rich colours and textures of this landscape, which as you say work really well with the black shapes of the animals and the green shrubs. The motion has caused a bit of blurring, but this has added an attractive effect to the foreground.

Hi Jonathan, A good catch from the bus. You can see the bus moving effect in the foreground and the clear image in the distance. You are right, the contrast between the animal and the orange colored ground is very clear and impressive. It leaves me wonder that what the animal were eating to the almost bear ground. Well seen and nice capture.

Hi Jonathan.
The light and the colour are good, and also I like the movement that we see. In some way is like we were traveling now.
Also is a nice and interesting subject.

Hi Jonathan,
Tough I drove on this road too, I can't recall such an orange tone in the land ;-) Is there some PP there? Anyway, the motion effect is quiet contrasting with the peacefull and quiet lifestyle of Livestock. I like this effect, and some of your other pics (I'll comment on soon) too!
See you!

Hi Jonathan
Grazing? doesn't look like there is much grass to eat, amazing how these animals can live on those few small bushes.
I agree that the black animals on the red background was worth a shot.
Regards
Harry
