Photographer's Note

Mount Aragats is an isolated four-peaked volcano massif in Armenia. Its northern summit, at 4,090 m (13,420 ft) above sea level, is the highest point of the Lesser Caucasus and Armenia. It is also one of the highest points in the Armenian Highlands.The Aragats massif is surrounded by Kasagh River on the east, Akhurian River on the west, Ararat plain on the south and Shirak plain on the north. The circumference of the massif is around 200 km
Situated 40 kilometres (25 mi) northwest of Armenian capital Yerevan, Aragats is a large volcano with numerous fissure vents and adventive cones. Numerous large lava flows descend from the volcano and are constrained in age between middle Pleistocene and 3,000 BCE.

The different height of the mountains is creating depth. The point of view is showing the details of the mountains. The light haze is giving a special mood to the scenery. Have a nice day.

Le petit matin se lčve doucement et laisse apparaître ces montagnes qui se se superposent avec pour pinacle les monts enneigés.
L'image est belle et trčs impressionnante.

cześć Piotrze,
Ładny widok na cztery wierzchołki tej góry o nazwie podobnej do Araratu. Jechałeś tam nocnym pociągiem? Ja jechałam marszrutką, ale z Achalcyche. .
Ale co oznacza zdanie, ze to Twój cel we wrześniu?? Wrzesień już się niedługo kończy. Będziesz zdobywał te szczyty?
Zagadkowa uwaga..

A scaled view towards the high terrain and snowy-top's mountains on the far horizon, Piotr.
Even with mist / fog the sight was well rendered.
A far country not in the regular tourists route.

Hello Piotr,
The scenery is beautiful and the hazy light has some very attractive soft colours. It's a very nicely exposed photo. You will have to hurry up if you want to get there this month. ;-)

Il y a quelque chose de trčs spécial dans l'atmosphčre de cette photo. La petite brume qui enveloppe le tout est douce dans cette lumičre en diagonale.

Hi Piotr,

I only had a sneak peek into Armenia from the Turkish border. Relations are still not good between the 2. At first I thought this was Ararat, but that volcano massif is a little further south. Aragats can be seen from Ani, the old abandoned Armenian capital. Tfs!

Czesc Piotr,
rzeczywiscie sporo krajow ostatnio zaliczyles.
Ten poczworny wulkan robi wrazenie, jestem pewien ze zrobisz z tych szczytow swietny reportaz.
Mnie nigdy zdjecia zrobione ze srodkow lokomocji sie nie udaja. Twoje jest bardzo przyzwoitej jakosci. Przede wszystkim jednak ten efekt kilku warstw gor w roznych odcieniach, robi ogromne wrazenie.
Zarys tych nizszych szczytow wydaje sie podobny do tych osniezonych, niemal jak skopiowany w photoshopie.
Wyglada na to ze kierunek wschod jest coraz to bardziej popularny.
Ale nawiazujac do tego co powiedziales pod moim przedostatnim zdjeciem, owszem zawsze sie ciesze kiedy moge pokazac cos czego nie bylo jeszcze na TE ale nie jest to krytyczne. Na przyklad jesli chodzi o Lwow to jest z niego tutaj ponad 400 zdjec ale wiekszosc pokazuje rzeczy ktore niemal nie sa zwiazane ze Lwowem i na pewno niewiele o Lwowie mowia.
Jakies przypadkowe fotki panienek na ulicy niekoniecznie wiele wnosza do obrazu miasta. No ale oczywiscie wszystko zalezy kto co lubi :)
