In Kathogike, a photo from Yerevan, West

Photographer's Note

Piotr showed lately the picture of Kathogike Church in Yerevan. But he had no luck and this tiny jewel was under renovation. probably he could not see it inside.
Here is the interior of this chapel. It is really small - it is the WHOLE view (you see a part of the gate). . I hope that Piotr and some people will find it interesting.

What one might call bijou! Excellent capture with superb colours and detailing. I like the presence of the lady and her contrasting blue jacket.

Hello Malgo,
Am I among those "some people" who you hope will find this interesting? All right, I do. I saw this place and had just a quick look inside, deciding my camera couldn't handle that light, so I didn't even try to take any pictures. I don't remember if there were any people inside at the time. It's a very pretty church but much of the beauty is lost by the careless city planning which has destroyed the nearest environment.

Ciao Malgo,

Je suis trčs intrigué par ton cadrage. On dirait qu'il manque le bas de l'image. J'aime bien cette croix trčs spéciale et le bon rendu des couleurs malgré la lumičre difficile.

Pokazalas w warsztacie to czego mi nie udalo sie zobaczyc, cala bryle tego urokliwego kosciola. Najblizsze otoczenie wyglada teraz duzo lepiej niz na twoich fotogrfiach ale co z tego jak remont zaslonil to co najwaznejsze. Do srodka niestety tez nie moglem wejsc, a kilka prob podejmowalem ;)
Dobra jakosc, dzieki za pokazanie bo to jedno z ciekawszych wg mnie miejsc w Erywaniu

Hello Malgo,
I like the warm and golden colours here, they add such a lovely glow to the walls. Good composition too, the lady in blue is well included to add a nice colour contrast.

Hello Malgo,

i might have cropped the oof door at left which does not add a lot to the shot. Good sharpness elsewhere and the low light levels have been well managed. The woman adds interest. Tfs!

you found an effective solution to the problem of limited space, your low point of view and wide angle have given you the opportunity to include several significant elements of the interior and give depth and dynamism to the scene. I like very much the colours and the excellent definition of both the interior and the doorway. The human presence adds interest to the scene and impact to the central focal element. Hello Malgo,
I like the warm glow of the chandelier and the golden cross on the black curtain. Nice view of this interior is enhanced by the presence of the onlooker.

we can't see many of the church itself, only some carvings at side. Anyway I liked the compo with the woman, the golden cross, the chandelier, flowers and etc. TFS.

I like this kind of photos and their atmosphere. You framed it well - we can see the details inside and, of course, the presence of the woman is perfect. I need to put this country on my list.
