A very good portrait, very sharped and with a good focus to them eyes. But the top of them (eyes) have a lot of reflexion of light.

Incredible portrait. Although the framing seems a bit to far to the left, the subject has such a deep look in his eyes and the color contrast and clarity of his beard and mustache make for an interesting maze of light and dark. I also rather enjoy the lightness in his eyes, giving them a nice glossy look...

Hi Wahid,

I'm surprised to see how shallow it feels with this 50mm lense! I use the 50mm f/1.4D, which at 50mm gives incredible shallowness. But you use f/2.8 here and I'd expect that the depth of focus would have been less shallow. It would have been good in this composition to have the nose in focus as well. But I do appreciate the tight composition as you have choosen here! I often work with tight compositions myself. Works well! Here an example in colour.
