Il pleut sur Phnom Penh
Des trombes d'eau envahissent la ville comme une maree.
Alors on sort les bateaux a moteur.
On fait la course en surfant sur les vagues.
On cherche a ne pas chuter pour ne pas se noyer.
On joue avec les elements qui se dechainent.

Great shot Bertand, although i liked it a bit sharper on the bike, maybe 1/50 would just be perfect to keep the speed in it and the water keep on looking like this.
Your choosen pov is really wonderful, taken from a balcony or what?
Your 5D and that beautiful DO gave you good result in taken this...very nice.

Une belle mage des moussons, Bertrand. J'attend toujours tes photos du Cambodge et celle-ci est un vrai SPLASH (exuse le jeu de mot) - j'aime beauoucp le mouvement en diagonale et l'eclat des gouttes partout autoir de la moto.

Very original for the particular moment and the unusual point of view. even if the subject are not perfectly focused it's very nice, I know it's very difficult to center a subject in a such condition, and with splashing water.. I wouldn't do better!

Une image d'actualité(il pleut partout ou je vais!)avec des effets d'éclaboussures intéressant, le léger flou du sujet indiquant une certaine vitesse (heureusement que ça ne roule pas vite a Phnom Penh!) Bons PdV et cadrage.

J'espčre que ton 5D n'a pas été trop arrosé pendant la prise de vue! Le résultat est géniale, une véritable impression de vitesse et aussi d'humidité. On a presque un mouvement de recul en ouvrant la photo pour ne pas ętre mouillé. J'espčre que ton séjour au Cambodge se passe bien et ton projet avance comme tu le souhaites.

Tu as trouvé un angle de vue aussi original que cette pétrolette amphibie. J'aime ta facon de tourner en dérision ce phénomčne si ravageur. La couleur et la hauteur de l'eau évoquent bien l'empleur de l'innondation et la scčne est représentative de la débrouillardise et de l'audace de ces riders de l'extrčme!

Yehhaaaaaaaaaa! Excellent captured! the diagonal of the composition adds so much fun to this image. This image reminds me of the wet season back in the Caribbean where we used to get weeks of rain at a time.

Superb pov and dynamic diagonals for this photo full of motion. It must be really hard to drive under this circumstances but also they must be used to it as they have to deal it every year. The splash of water and the fact they are not perfectly sharp works so well here to give us the perfect idea of the conditions they face after the heavy rains.

Sympa ce point de vue, tu as pris ça d'un balcon? La netteté plus ŕ droite et le flou plus ŕ gauche ça donne bien! Incroyable les pluies de la mousson...j'ai connu ça au Cambodge il y a 3 ans et le pays ressemblait ŕ un lac géant.

The bike with the two men should be sharper and keep the water splash as it is, f/8 and 50 to 100sec would be fine. very good high POV and also the way you captured the water splash is very good. Great colors.

Salut Bertrand, il me semblait bien que je n'avais pas laissé qq mots ici (pourtant elle figure dans mon thčme de septembre depuis qq jours maintenant ;) ), elle est franchement top, ce paning est délicieux et la façon dont tu as agencé tout ça me convainc a 100%.
Les goutelettes d'eau propulsées par la roue avant sont le must je pense.
Parfait cadrage, ça aurait dommage de dézoomer plus.

Bertrand,
the class of a perfect shot defines itself by the amount of elements. The less elements there is in a photography and able to tell a story the better is the shot. In other words, the paucity of elements and the dynamics that you got here speaks a clear and loud word: OUTSTANDING!
