An image looking towards Koh Pen island, taken during a quick walk out along the wobbly bamboo bridge stretching about 1km across the Mekong river. A great place just to sit, watch what's going on and make lots of pictures.....

Setting: 70 mm, 1/800 sec, F4, ISO Raw 200, 1732 hrs & Polarised

Hello Abmdsudi, the figure dressed in orange is an essential part of your shot, someone for our eyes to focus upon as we follow the lines of the bridge.
I am very surprised to see a vehicle on the bamboo bridge, someone has faith in its strength!
And you say that the bridge stretches for 1km?

Almost incredible that a bridge of bamboo, but this is the prove.

I could well imagine myself to spend a lot of time on that bridge too. A fine place to watch people, experiment with camera angles and inspect changing light. On this one I like how low angle light illuminates those vertical poles.

This bridge certainly looks very rickety!
You were brave to venture across, with a vehicle risking the crossing, too.

However, what a great photograph it makes!
The textures, the long perspective and the figure clothed in orange, so strongly placed!
The backwards glance gives the scene a sudden narrative!

Excellently composed photograph with beautiful lights and colours. Are the tracks in the middle have any particular importance (eg. as a track for carts) or its just part of the structure.

A good vertical view along the bamboo bridge. I like your choice for this low viewpoint, which follows the two lines in the middle very well. Good contrast between the shaded areas and the warm glow of the sunlit poles. Also that person in orange is well included.
