Photographer's Note

Seen from the "Space Capsule" of the Pearl Tower 350 metres above ground looking west over the Huangpu River. In China, Shanghai, the Pearl of the Orient, is also referred to as the city that never sleeps. It has a long history of interaction with the west, and often not a very pleasant one, and it is not unusual to find someone who speaks fluent English. One of the few places in China where one could get by without an interpreter. With more than 17 million people, Shanghai is one of the largest and most densely populated cities in the world.

PS: No post-processing was done. Only sharpening subsequent to size reduction. In future I will strive for zero or minimal PP here and leave the PP for TL where there is ample provision for creativity of that kind.
