Eating out in Hekou, a border town with Vietnam ..

This is by far a quite common street food here, to the point that you can find a kebabs stand in pretty much in every street corner in town run by Hui Muslim. They looked mouth watering, smelt good and they tasted
just as good but I was rather taken by the smoke and their concentration - a hard working team work between mom and daughter who were doing a fine business, and always ever ready to serve the hungry customers.

Just a simple hand-held shot in a cold night and a more down to earth approach to every day life over here even though there are far too many variables that can go wrong. But I truly enjoy watching people, observe and not only capturing the brief snapshot of their lives but also I get a great point of view which gives me a tremendous gift as it happens before my eyes.

A great shot of the crowded street food stand here, the food looks really good and is seen as a good diagonal with warm colours and good lighting in the middle.

hello abmdsudi, Nice scene from the night food market. Very similar market is in Stone Town, but the kebabs are made with fish and Frutti di mare. They looked delicious but I preferred the Zanzibar soup.
