Pleasant Surprise, a photo from Hong Kong, South

Photographer's Note

This photo was taken on a tram ride in Hong Kong using a film camera. The film winding was jammed for the entire roll of film. I thought it is certainly to be ruined. I developed it anyhow, and with pleasant surprises!
It gives the frame a sense of messiness and yet charming. That's exactly my impression of Hong Kong!

Hi,
I agree with you, sometimes, supposed "ruined" photos offer a magical atmosphere ! The superposition of 2 pictures due to the blocking of your roll gives some movement and reflects the dynamism of the city.

Hi Em,
A happy accident, I have some old film shots that have similar damage (old film or expired film). I just posted one yesterday. This shot has an amazing effect, like a collage, or an artwork. A fantastic sense of chaos and movement.
