Spotted this road sweeper fully engrossed in reading a newspaper peacefully somewhere in Canton old quarter probably during his ciggy break. Guess for how long could he be in that posture in a wacky sort of a
way which make me smile, but I always think that it's more interesting when the subject is aware of the camera....

A superb daily life view of this sweeper having a break, with a wrinkled newspaper and a cigarette. Well framed view. Those knees are in such an angle I haven't managed for decades.

An excellent daily life photo of this man reading the paper and smoking a cigarette. The light made him stand out so well from the more shaded and grey surroundings. Well spotted and captured in a good composition.

Well taken photo in your distinctive style, that is to say the subject in his vivid coloured clothes pops out well from the grey(ish) environment. The photo also well obeys the rule of the thirds.

Hello Abmdsudi,

You were very alert to notice this guy, reading the newspaper, whilst he had a quick break from his work to have a cigarette.
It might be an everyday occurrence in Canton but not something I would expect to see. What it does tell us, too, is how fit he must be. I cannot imagine many people being able to balance in this squatting position whilst they smoke and read the newspaper!
You have taken a good, sharp exposure and composed it nicely off-centre.
