Photographer's Note

SUN TEMPLE is a 13th century monument in the eastern state of Odissa. Sun Temple is a world heritage site. The temple was built for SUN god and is a chariot. The complete temple is sculptured to every small nook and corner – no place you will find out sculpture. This sculpture is very intricate and exotic. The monument is created by SAMBA son of Lord Krishan as symbol of thanks giving to Sun god for curing leprosy suffered by Samba.
The chariot has 12 wheels, and one of them is displayed in this photograph. In my next post, the complete temple view will be provided. Every part of the wheel has intricate sculpture and is a master piece by itself.
The complex is fully surrounded by green lawns, now the temple is under restoration by Govt. In next post I will be posting the temple view. The temple is also famous as Pagoda.
