Photographer's Note
It was a cold night.
After dinner when I came out of the cottage, it was dark except moonlight coming through tall trees. Some villagers gathered dry leaves and set small fire to enjoy heat.
The whole atmosphere was so magical that I could not but try for a photo. This is one of the better ones.
The white structure is our home stay at Jayanti, a small village in Buxa Reserve Forest, Jalpaiguri district, India.
Shot at Jayanti at 20:47

Dear Alekhya,
Thanks for your comments, it's nice. Not an easy picture to take in my opinion. The light management is excellent, I like the blue-night color of the sky, a charming hut and I can feel some special atmosphere there
Have a good evening

Hi Alekhya,
East or west, home is the best.
The blue sky at 8.47 pm, this is interesting......a long exposure of 26 seconds and aperture of 3.5.
With this settings the image is bound to be exposed brightly.
Can you share the ISO settings too?
Technically speaking, this shot arouses interest, but composition wise, needs more practise.
Regards,
Rajeev

hi Alekhya,
another nice shot. This time night photography, which is really tough. As 'the man with good will' said that it is very very good according to image quality but it needed more 'punch' in composition. Your temporary home is very well exposed, nice textures of tree branches there, but something is missing there. Overall I enjoyed this image with such blue sky of noon-lit night . Thanks for sharing. Did you capture any night shot of river Jayanti with those pebbles beside it with a backdrop of dense treeline. I can feel it. Though I have no such photos in my archive. If you have one, please share it here.
Bhalo theko (anyway, tumi ki bangali? Please, Don't mind my question).

Namste Alekhya
Burning the midnight oil on this one! excellent attempt with good result without too many lights causing 'light pollution. Super composition by placing the main interest on the third and credit to your skill in managing the exposure with excellent definition in the dark blue sky. The point of view is very well chosen with the bright green curtains grab all the attention into the shot. Excellent pcs of night photo. Congrats.
Best regards
