Another picture of Mount Kanchanjunga during sun rise at charkol. Charkol is a newly opened destination in West Bengal hills. To reach Charkol, you have to go via lolegaon (15 Kms from lolegaon). The roads to Charkol is pathetic and it is made of boulders. Only 4 wheel drive vehicles can reach there. Small wheel cars cannot reach there as the wheels will get jammed in between boulders. The mere 15 kms distance from lolegaon will take approx 1hrs 20 mins. Anyhow, once you reach charkol, it's a pleasant stay there with absolutely zero interference between you and mount KANCHANJUNGA.
