Photographer's Note
I took this shot at Shankarpur Beach.. You can see the silhouettes of the people.. People gathered on the pier to see the low tide of the sea.. During the trip i made two mistakes- 1. I forgot to take my tele lens 2. I forgot battery charger.. Thats why I am unable to show you good photos.. I don't know you like it or not..
About Shankarpur Beach:-
Shankarpur is a virgin beach town located 14 km east of Digha in West Bengal. It is also a regular fishing harbor. The mornings are cool, when fishermen can be seen hauling their huge nets out of the sea. The morning sun reflecting on the sea waves in the east, and the local fishboats on the coast offer excellent photographic opportunities
Shankarpur contains a number of temples. It is located in the flat alluvial plain which forms part of the Kosi River basin, which makes the land very fertile. The area suffers from periodical flooding; in 1984, the flooding caused significant loss of life and property.
Located in the Purba (East) Medinipur District of the state of West Bengal, Shankarpur is a beach destination along the Digha-Contai Road which is fast gaining popularity. It is at a distance of about 185 km from the capital city Kolkata, and about 14 km from the famous beach town Digha.
Thanks for your visit..

Well Indrasish, the outcome is fairly good, inspite of what you had mentioned.
Maybe a horizontal format, would give a wider scope.
Nevertheless, made a fine silhouettes with the people stood on the pier, draw the first look on the image.
Have a nice weekend,
Ike

hello dear, I like your composition with your 18-135, the only backdrop of this image is the slant horizon which can be easily rectified in PP. Your composition is otherwise good with those people seeing the sea in low tide, (I suppose it is approaching the high tide, isn't it?). I especially love the dramatic sky at top. I would prefere to go in such condition with a horizontal frame (may be) keeping the prolonged area in diagonal and with 2/3rd sky frame... Only a personal view, hope you wouldn't mind my words. Overall a pretty morning view which reminds my days in those area some years ago. Tfs.

Hi Indrasish,
Its very rare to see a black and white seascape, and its a pleasure to see this. It works very well, especially with the silhouettes of the people. The cloudy sky adds drama.
All the best

Dear Indrasish,
I really like the image and I would like to see a larger file and a little bit brighter, even the horizon is crooked, great idea and framing, I agree with the choice of B & W..
best regards,
Valter
