A person needs to be physical tough to conquer heights in cold icy environment, but its the fate/destiny for some that they have to pull some on their backs to make others destiny fulfilled in conquering these heights, while what they themselves earn from carrying this load is just enough for a few meals for them & their families.

What makes this shot unique is that it depicts the way of life as similar to any other place in India. Effort to make a livelihood holds good for any corner of this planet Earth.
Coming back to the shot, I like the exposure of the snow which you have controlled well. However I would love to see the other sledge in full and not in partial.
Take care of this aspect too.

Hi Jugnu,

Sure Jugnu. No work is small. They are people full of respect and they earn it for their families. I don't want to say much words but with the government helping very less these people have only tourism as their only way to earn for their families in a right way.
A picture full of human tragedy and circumstances created by human only.

It's a really sad truth, in India and in many other countries. Sometimes people need to work really hard for almost nothing and it's sometimes very hard to see that. The question is that even that "almost nothing" is certainly very important and necessary for them. Tushar is right, they deserve the most respect, as well as their work.
You have selected a good photo to illustrate your note. B&W was a good option also!

An interesting B/W image. I love the man pulling the boy. It doesn't seem to be that easy. You have given a good note.

Would love to see the original (in color) in your workshop. I guess this is a good image in color too.

hello jugnu. jumping from your latest colorful photo, i found this one. man, this photo is so strong! i mean, such an allegory of life, and how some people carry others as a burden, and get nothing in return, while the ones being carried just keep on enjoying it more and more. seeing this photo in colors would be the last thing i needed, it is there as it is. bravo!
