Photographer's Note
Smiling through eyes.Clicked while roaming in Leh bazaar I spotted this kid her features were quite different from local population I asked her from where she belongs? Answer I got.. she was from Leh. Quite stunning her eyes were so requested a close-up portrait before a closed shop’s shutter. She was so nice, so sweet agreed to my request so captured these smiling eyes for sharing with you all.

Hi Chanjit,
I agree, she is smiling through her eyes. Such sparkling eyes! I am glad you noticed. Excellent colours and a good idea to have those dull shutters in the BG. Well Done!
Best Wishes

Beautiful!!
A wonderful portrait Chanjit ji. Warm glow from her face, well crafted chin and a beautiful gaze looking directly into your eyes.
Her sweater is equally important for a Ludhinawi just for the inticate design ; a hosiery product.
India is beautiful from Leh to Kanyakumari.
TFS,
My best Regards,
Rajeev

She really does have amazing eyes, and you've taken a really good portrait here Chanjit.
Unfortunately a small technical point lets it down slightly. Your point of focus appears to be on the girl's sweater and not on her eyes where it should have been. I like having things blurred in portraits; hair, ears, even the nose, but in my view its essential to keep the eyes sharp. Especially when they are as lovely as this.
Sorry to be so picky, I really do think its a great shot (apart from the blurred eyes).
Cheers,
Ben

Chanjit,
This is a wonderful portrait of a wonderful subject. However, the face seems a little blurry. Not sure if this was done on purpose or not. But it's beautiful.

Nice girl, nice potrait but as Ben has ritely pointed out ur point of focus is her sweater and not her face. These are some things that no amount of PP can correct :)

Hi Chanjit,
Great close up potrait of this young girl. Nicely capturing her sharp 'smiling' eyes. Nice shot and great PP works.

Chanjit you must feel proud for having captured such a portrait!!
Girl's eyes are so sparkling, she is so sweet! A great portrait, and a good way to approach her, as you tell us in your useful note.
Inb my opinion there are no problems about sharpness in the face, I like the result.

I like much your portrait, slightly fuzzy but a terrible glance, the same color of the eyes as mine. Ciao/jr

I think your portraits like this are the best photographs you are sharing in TE. This have an special feeling at face, as movement and not as sharp as the body ż? I like it
