A brilliant and haunting shot, Henrik. Exceptional light, clarity and sharpness. Lovely muted and real colours. Great tight crop. But most of all I love your subject. His beautiful face and intense gaze are very moving.

The tight clean crop is wonderful... I really like seeing the contrast between the different textures (wool fiber) within the boys headgear "vs" the smooth skin on his face...

This is amazing, everything is just perfect. I remember well seeing these guys working on the road, living in tents and boiling up massive vats (of tar maybe). It made me very sad as many were just children, and their life was so hard and dangerous. Its impossible to tell how old this guy is, but he certainly looks old beyond his years. Beautiful portrait.

I love the face and the way he looks at the camera, his eyes tell many things in undescriptible way, the zoom in his face was a very good idea is a very touch picture.
