Photographer's Note

It was a chilly morning just after the Christmas in Gangtok. I never expected to get such a view from Tashi point, Gongtok, after returning from Pelling where Kanchenjunga was nearer and hazier. It was a case of pure serendipity for me.
What do you think?
About Kanchenjunga: It is the third highest mountain in the world, after Mt. Everest and K2, with an altitude of 8,586m. Kangchenjunga translates to "The Five Treasures of Snows", as it contains five peaks with four of them over 8,450m. Three of these five peaks (main, central, and south) are on the border of North Sikkim district of Sikkim, India and Nepal, while the other two are completely in Nepal.
