Nanjangud is a small town near to Mysore. it is situated on the bank of the river Kapila also known as Kabini.
The town got the name from the temple Nanjundeshwar to Lord Shiva.
Kabini is one of the tributary of the river Cauvery.
Coracle drive is very famous. Don't miss to take a drive. It is a nice place to get away from Bangalore.
