Photographer's Note
rail rides in india can be so interesting, the nature, the people, the road can be so colorful - one falls in love with it. i have spent 5years in south india, and had a similar experience having this ride in karnataka, towards Ooty from a small village. in the morning i just peeped out of the door for some fresh air when i caught several other doing the same thing in different ways. the smile says, speed is not everything, complete enjoyment and satisfaction is what we all seek. thats why i prefer indian train or bus rides over flights. people in india are adapted to travel even for 48 hours to reach one place, but that doesnt deter them to take some other form of conveyance. it is not bcoz of money, but also the fun of the trip.
i doubt such an experience can be matched anywhere else in the world. hope u feel it thru this pic
happy viewing

I like your picture. It has a story, it has motion. Excellent composition: the coaches, the men hanging, the girls enjoying the breeze.....
Too bad it is not veyr sharp.. maybe scanned?

Hello Tukai Babu :)
Excellent capture of the serpentine train, the contrast between the red train and the green slope is so refreshing. Well chosen POV. Somehow this compartment appears very clean by Indian standards.
Best Wishes

Hola Sabyasachi:
A photo with some small technical lack but with big content in information ... with a magnificent framing that only already my applause and recognition deserves that.
Un saludo desde Espańa.

Hi Sabya Da,
It's beautiful, specially the angle. The expression of the lady and the guys says about a cheerful journey moment.
