Photographer's Note
This snap was taken on a weekend trip to Bijapur and Pattakal. Gol Gomuz, is the grand mausoleum of Muhammad Adil Shah of the Sultanate of Bijapur. It is a classic example of Deccan Sultanate Architecture. It is one of the largest free standing domes of the world, next only to St Peters Basilica. The acoustics inside are amazing, with the sound being reflected as many as 6 times, and you being able to hear your sound at different points in time. If you plan to visit the place, try to visit as early as possible, later in the day children, make this acoustic wonder an instrument to test their skills in shouting :)
