Photographer's Note

It is so heart breaking to see the destruction and sadness in South and Southeast Asia due to the tsunami. This is a happy memory of Tamil Nadu at the Shore Temple of Mamallapuram. You may remember the photo future TE members(their classmates). I ran into this group everywhere I went that day.
I hope those who live and work near there made it to safety and the temple remains intact. Let's hope and pray those who survive get help!

Thank you, Christina. I am going thru a few pages of TE pix, but i find it hard to critique with the strength of the tragedy that hit Asia.

I just hope everyone of them here is OK, and maybe too much to hope all their family members are too?

I hope I will find all the hapiness you show us here soon again in Mamallapuram now most people returned at their home. I think at Pitchai, Usman .... and so many others who were living near the sea.

Like everyone else, I have been staggered by the phenomonal loss of life from the tsunami, which is now 63,114 and still rising.

Good to see a shot from happier times.
