I think that this framing add more power to her incredibly eyes and sight (compared with my previous shot).

She was sitting in her hut,
I bowed and smiled from outside.
Then I take a couple of images before she change her posture.
She belongs to the Jatt tribespeople.

This is a lot better than the previous one, though that wasn't bad either, of course. This is horrifyingly "in your face", almost unbearable stuff! Brr...

Hi Luca - yes I think you are right - you have essentialised what is really important about this portrait - perhaps to personal taste just a little holding back on the contrast might work better for me and I'm in two minds about the loss of sharpness on the hand given the degree of clarity elsewhere but it is not so important to me as all that because of the strength of the face itself - nice work!

i have such good memories of travelling in Kutch.

I liked tight framing here giving attnention to her eyes, but I also would have liked her hand to be more clearer - I keep beign distracted from her face to her hand.

Hi Luca,
Indeed, a better PP compared to your previous version. A lot better for the light and for the color, for its sharpness as well. As for the crop, I'm not totally sure.
There is a portrait in TE that has got more than 500 points. I can tell you that this portrait here should be the one receiving the praise. Not because of the photo itself, both have their value, but because the technical aspects are way better managed. The white aren't burnt. You did not overdo it. So, what's left? The beauty of this human soul...

Nice to have you, not often enough, on TE from time to time Luca
Not very fan of the one you posted today it's overexposed at the top of the fall and I think the shot looks somewhat artificial, well just my opinion)
In contrast I cannot let this one pass before me
I missed it once but not twice
maybe one of your best, extremely expressive, technically perfect (but what else to be expected from you)and morever conveying a strong emotion to the viewer
