Although officially the caste system is no longer valid, Indian society is still deeply divided - even if the birth caste is no longer so important as it used to be, there is at least one dividing factor that cannot be thought over - the money! They determine your place on the social ladder everywhere in the World, but in India it's especially visible.
What is interesting is how those social groups mix in the same place while not interfering with each other, like on this picture here - in the foreground poor houses of poor people, in the background elegant houses of the richer

Interesting document. But lacks some impact.

Hi Antoni,
Excellent view, your picture really shows the point, its an amazing continuom from decrepid housing going through adequate to luxurious I think a ccropping a bit on the left would make it a more impact image.
