Naggar was the seat of Kullu Kings for nearly 1,500 years. This castle is believed to have been built by Raja Sidhi Singh in early 16th century. The 500 year old castle is now heavily restored though some old doors, etc. remain as they are.

It now houses a hotel run by the tourism department and a small museum. FOr a small payment you can live like a king here! :)

This place also provided you with the panoramic view of Beas valley from a height. The Roerich memorial centre is nearby to this place.
