Photographer's Note

The small light house was built by the Dutch in 1868 and must have served the Dutch and British sailors well in its time. It has been partly renovated by the local administration and made functional. There was news that it will be demolished and a new one constructed in its place. Thankfully, that has not happened ... yet.

I have to admitt that i'd like to see more of the lighthouse in a further back composition, but in this style we do get a good close examination of the finer details which is nice aswell.
lets hope it doesn't get torn down!

this small light house in sepia
its the first time I see a lighthouse
in sepia because every shot shows
the beauty of a light house only in colors

Une bonne nouvelle que ce phare ne soit pas démoli, j'aime le cadrage qui laisse un aperçu sur le paysage, juste un dommage de ne pas le voir entičrement...
