Photographer's Note
The Chand Baori stepwell, located about 100 km east of Jaipur on the Agra-Jaipur Road. Stepwells were built to provide water through dry seasons and potentially leisure purposes as well.
The Chand Baori was built by King Chand in the 9th century A.D. On three sides it is surrounded by approximately 3500 narrow steps descending in 13 levels nearly 100 feet into the ground. The fourth side consists of a series of rooms for the royals.

Hello Paul,
What a fascinating place. The repetitive patterns are mesmerizing. I like the high POV, and the few people that add splashes of color to the scene. I've never seen this place before, so thanks for sharing it.

Hi Paul,
This is wonderful picture. Nicely demonstrated architecture with good coverage of depth. Good contrast and sharpness. The sunlight and the people in the scene have made it more interesting.
Cheers
Abhi
