Another photo of a Fort that I really like, Gwalior!
This is how it looked like when I was there - families resting in the shadow, cows eating and .... only a few foreig tourists beside us!
Gwalior is one of the most beautiful forts I've seen in Madhya Pradesh and also considered one of the most invencible of India. There's a lot to see in this fort that has been the stage of battles, imprisonments and also jauhars ( the self immolation of the Royal women, in order to escape capture, enslavement or dishonour during the invasions).

Bonjour Ana,

Quand les vaches contrastent avec l'architecture. J'aime beaucoup ce bâtiment aux formes trčs originales ainsi qu'aux couleurs trčs spéciales. Le beau ciel polarisé est exceptionnel.

Il y a de tout sur cette photo. des vaches, des gens qui pique-niquent, et le magnifique édifice. Surement un endroit pour passer du bon temps. Excellente composition et bel éclairage.

taken from a fairly good distance to appreciate the size of the fort and its surrounding's, Ana.
Blue tiles, Azulejos of India, shown well and gave etra vivid color.
late summer heat, made people flee to shaded place under the big tee.
Fine picture, the animals in addition also gave yet another dimenssion.

Hi Ana,
A beautiful fort, and being so used to seeing old forts in my home country being ruined and made of dull grey stone, it is do nice to see this fine bue and yellow colored building, and it being still an important part of everyday life. The lit is great so you chose a really good angle to shoot from and the animals tie in nicely to your note.

Hello Ana,
This is one of the very famous places in India that I have not seen. Unfortunately that country is just too large for anyone with just one lifetime. It's a very pretty view showing India from its nicest side: quiet and rural and very relaxed. The colours are superb too.

nice the view of Gwalior fort as dominating on the backdrop of the image with its blue strokes to make it even more effective.
The eating of the cows on the foreground complete perfect the whole scenery.

This is a beautiful view of this fort, interesting architecture with many decorative details, and these cows are a nice addition. Something like this can be seen only in India :)

I agree with you...Gwalior fort alongwith Mehrangarh fort in Jodhpur & Jaisalmer fort to me are the most beautiful forts in india...in as much I have seen

Very interesting wide view with the cows in the FG pivoting the shot well.. This looks fine from the distant viewpoint

fosse aqui estes dois novilhos estariam sequestrados e virariam churrasco, ainda mais com o preĂ§o alto da carne.
muito legal a vista do cenĂĄrio com os animais e esta linda fachada adiante.
ando pensando em usar um carro com motorista na Ăndia, sĂł nĂŁo sei se serĂĄ possĂvel ir sozinho.
