Sawan/Bhadon pavilion, a photo from Delhi, North

Photographer's Note

The Hayat baksh bagh, which means "life-bestowing garden", is the largest of the gardens in the Red fort in Old Delhi. The Sawan/Bhadon pavilions (mandap) are two almost identical structures facing on opposite ends of the canal. They are carved out of white marble and located in this garden. A feature is a section of a wall with niches. Originally small oil lamps would be lit and placed in these niches at night, or vases with golden flowers be placed during the day. The water from the channel would cascade over it, creating the impression of a golden curtain. The names Sawan and Bhadon are the two months in the Hindu calendar during the monsoon. It is not clear however which pavilion carries which name. Source : wiki

Un trčs joli pavillon dans un bien joli jardin. La lumičre est trčs forte en cette heure de la journée, mais ne boudons pas notre plaisir. Trčs belle profondeur d'ensemble.

A beautiful pavilion, which you captured in a wonderful sunlight, which makes the white architecture glow in the middle of the more natural colours. The gardens looks pleasant and especially the purple flowers stand out.

Besides people and ceremonies, India is also about great architecture's from back in times.
A bit harsh light over the place, but the garden and pavilion compensate for this.
