Photographer's Note

I took this photo while going to Churchgate with my wife to see the Gateway of India.
It was just before the rush hour. The train was heading towards Churchgate to pick up the office crowd heading back home. The train was packed initially, and people were hanging out the door. But was we approached Churchgate, the crowd got lesser and lesser. Enough for me to move around freely and aim my camera at this one man, who seemed to like hanging out the door even though there was no overpacked compartment of people giving him a reason to. I guess he is so used to standing out that he chose to. He sort of reminded me of the people in Japan who choose to stand near the door even though there is plenty of sitting room. I guess local train travellers around the world are alike.
