a street kid is selling "Today" newspaper in the streets for couple of Rupees.. she is not begging.

'today' is special, i bought the paper for sure.

You do very well with car windows, Evren, as I recall. Brilliant shot here, absolutely spot on, color, framing, focus. Beautiful. You could be running a photography seminar with these shots n TE.

Belle prise de vue !
Cette lumičre et ces contrastes sont du plus bel effet !
Jadore lattitude et la pose de cet enfant.
Par contre, je trouve la profondeur de champ trop petit, tu aurais gagné en matičres et textures avec une plus grande ouverture.
JE vois dans les exifs que tu aurais pu aller jusquŕ un bon petit F4.
Beau travail tout de męme, aime cette image

as usual a super composition Evren.. the lighting the framming everything is perfect.. but still dont understand one thing, which is keeping me disturbed for my ignorance.. why did u choose f/1.8 to make this photograph.. the DOF is so shallow i get her hand even as a bokeh.. and this bokeh is an extreme one.. Can u please share your thought..

Beuatiful potrait. The light is sublime. I love the DoF forcing you to concentrate on those eyes. Very powerful. I love the title and the daily newspaper idea. Excellent stuff.

Eye-catching, and eye-sticking! These eyes, center-focus of your picture, act like a magnet. The blurred background is fantastic by color and shape. And above all, this little girl with her fantastic eyes, hidden smile, dirty nails, is so damned REAL, so 'fleshy', so touching. This is a very strong shot, very 'Steve McCurry' style! Bravo, --amz

Oh, this mood. This light, this bokeh. The whole shot is superb. I wonder how that low f-stop works out so well with all the details, including the paper and the girl's lovely face... superb, Evren. A great composition, a moving, really heartfelt shot. Poor sweet girl. Your showing her in that marvellous evening light is just showing her beauty even more.

A little like the selling of the 'Big Issue' on British streets - a lovely capture of this little one's enthusiastic sales technique - how could one resist!? The light is a little strong on her temple there and a touch distracting perhaps but the other elements of the image are so strong it doesn't disturb for too long and in the end perhaps not at all.
