Indian society, in popular opinion seems to be a conservative society. Here is a visual that is contrary to the popular opinion. In Khajuraho as I followed these ladies in their exploration of the Khajuraho sculptures, I was pleasantly surprised to see the patriarch of the family explaining to the ladies the intricacies of the sculptures.
The ladies too seemed perfectly amused...

Hi Durba,
You did a great job following this unsuspecting family with the guile of a seasoned paparazzi:) This one perhaps even better than the previous post since you didn't need the help of collage here. Very unusual sight indeed, I would love to eavesdrop and find out what the patriach is explaining ;)
