Dhikala at the heart of the core area is the main attraction for tigers at Jim Corbett National Park/Tiger reserve.

This picturesquely located area is at the edge of of a grassy plateu perched high above the Ramganga flowing river. The grasslands (chaur)of the Dhikala disappear into the dense sal forest of the foothills.

One can see here sal trees on the Ramganga river bank followd by himalayan foothills.
