Les petites confiseries abondent dans les ruelles indiennes. Sous la forme d'un "bretzel", ces Jalebi orange sont préparées ŕ partir de pâte ŕ beignets et trempées dans le sirop. Délicieux ... !

Jalebi is a fried sweet made from maida flour, commonly prepared in India, Pakistan and Bangladesh. It is made by deep-frying batter in a pretzel shape, then soaked in syrup. Delicious ...!

A very good picture of an interesting scene.
The soft light is perfect, as well as the bright spots of color.

C'est une photo que j'aimerais voir en plus grand! Le regard assassin et magnétique, par en dessous, est ŕ mes yeux, le premier attrait de cette photo qui n'en manque pas. La position de l'homme, bien centrale, avec sa gestuelle suspendue (va-t'il se lever et te planter l'ustensile qui lui sert ŕ touiller les jalebis dans le coeur? Il semble pręt ŕ bondir!) est bien saisie. Et j'aime aussi beaucoup le rappel de couleur, entre l'inscription sur le mur, l'orange fluo des beignets... jusqu'au fil en coton noué autour de son poignet! La lumičre et les couleurs sont belles.
Bravo!

i like this pic because it is plenty of interesting thing to see.. the jalebis set in a sort of architechture, the white of the milk.. the writing.. the (sad) face of the man.. the wooden door behind him..

A nice daily life scene Patrick - would have liked to have seen the subject more off center but the textures and tonal quality are very pleasing.

Bonjour Patrick,

J'aime bien la position centrale du confissier et les couleurs des confiseries est un grand plus aussi (avec un echo couleur dans l'écriture).
Je ne suis pas sűre du 'look' sérieux que cet homme nous donne. Il est peut-ętre un peu irrité par la présence des tourists?

j'aime ce portrait d'un homme (et une scčne intéressante en męme temps). Trčs bonne composition! La place ne semble pas trčs brillante mais la couleur orange l'anime trčs bien :)
A propos, l'homme et ces deux grands bassins me rappellent d'une balance!
