Photographer's Note
Forest of Borneo, lately burnt down for commercial Palm Plantation.
(This is also the reason Carlos Santana refused to play music in Indonesia)

Hello Mona - I like this shot; it has a certain moodiness to it which fits in well with your note. The composition is good and I like the inclusion of some of the forest floor with the tree trunks just lying there. Wecome to TE, I look forward to seeing more of your work. Best regards Rosemary

Hi Mona,
it is really interesting photo!
Couple days before I was watching a reportage about orang-utans who live in Borneo and about the problem with their natural environment. It is very important problem and it is good that you are showing it to us!
Great POV, composition and dramaturgy,

Mona
Terrific mood, we don't see much of this murky green/yellow tonal imagery much, i love it on images that can handle it, and this capture certainly can. Your comp looks good and the detail throughout boosts the image.
Fine work here, keep them coming

Hola Mona ...
Interesting the greenish tones of the composition,
the closed framing I like and the simple of
the composition, it is a sorrow when
our forests are burnt :(
Un fuerte abrazo y feliz noche.

Hello Mona,
I like this photograph very much. So many elements of good photography come into play — the subject, composition, light, colors and resolution — and are all successful. Your note is also interesting, and I can empathize with Carlos Santana for deciding not to visit.
Warm regards,
Bulent

Hi Mona,
Very fine capture, mysterious place. I'm not sure if there was a big human deforestation or a strong storm. Anyway, the place is very picturesque.
Have a great weekend.
